Blanca Li

This film was created to introduce Feathers, natural hair collection accessoires by John Nollet, at Colette, in Paris, July 7^th 2014.

It is the result of a lightning of inspiration that occurred one day, about a year ago, when John and I were talking about his collection of accessoires made from natural hair. At the beginning, it was just a personal experiment to be shot in very simple conditions.

It took an unforeseen path, as everybody we asked to join this project was thrilled and we found ourselves all of a sudden with a “dream team” ready to bring up the best images from these ideas, with fantastical technical support.

My thanks first to John for his ever challenging inspiration. I am proud that we achieved to match the incredible quality and delicacy of his craftsmanship with the choreographies for my film.

My very warm thanks to all the team who made this dream become reality, to Colette who decided to show the film for the John Nollet Feathers collection presentation.
